The Exterior:

• Avoid washing your vehicle in direct sunlight
• Use regular car wash shampoo.  Do not use strong soaps or chemical detergents such as dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, hair shampoo, etc., as they are high in alkaline and may damage your paint finish or sealant.
• Make sure that your wash mitt or sponge is clean and free of soil and dirt.
• For best results, rinse water should be dried promptly and not allowed to dry on your vehicle’s surface.
• If you have purchased Final Coat “Acid Rain Sealant” or “Xzilon Ultimate Pain Protector”, then it is not necessary to wax your vehicle.

The Interior:

• Vacuum all seats and carpets on a regular basis.
• Clean spills and stains immediately.
• If you have purchased Final Coat “Fabric or Leather Protector” for your seats or carpets, remove all spilled liquid or food from the protected surfaces as soon as possible.  This is done by pressing a towel or absorbent material against the spill to remove most of the liquid.  The remainder of the stain can be removed with the use of a mild detergent.
